I’m trying to make an app that can automatically count my laps (given a start point).
For background, I often do laps around the house or do laps for religious purposes and I realized that it’s really difficult to keep an accurate count of how many laps I’ve done.
Easier said than don’t though - I’ve tried everything from a GPS sensor, compass, accelerometer, pedometer even a stopwatch, but no method is accurate or consistent enough. I am using MIT app inventor right now to code my prototypes but I am open to other options as well.
I’m pulling my hair out at this point; do you have any ideas on how I can make this work?
