I'm a bit biased but I used to work in customer service supporting the Developer Platform at Squarespace and saw stuff like this happen all the time. I guess it is still a thing. 🤷♀️
Yeah being a software developer myself, I can't blame Squarespace too much since I know the nature of digital products is often fickle, and things can and do break all the time even with giant industry leaders. That's especially true when new features are being pushed regularly.
Oh well. Here's to imperfect software systems creating problems & jobs for us engineers ☕
