Your own developers business card

Hi!

Today i want to share with You, idea about making portfolio page easily.
All what you need is GitHub account and about one hour of free time, lets do this !

1 As first You have to prepare special repository for Your profile. This repository should have name as Your account. If your username is "octocat", the repository name must be "octocat" as well. This repository will be pinned at Your github profile. Here You have full tutorial how to make them: Managing your profile README .

2 In the next step, you will need some nice header image. But don't be afraid, you don't have to be a graphic specialist. I used tool leviarista.github.io - here You can use some predefined teplates to customize Your own header in dev style :)

3 Now is time for write some words about Yourself.
You can paste here some link to Your project,
You can write few words about Your experience
You can say where you have learned
You can write Your goals
You can share some about You are learning

4 When you encouraged someone with your person, its good to leave some ways to reach You. I choose badges with links to my accounts. Badges are graphical representation of some words, and could have icons. For make Your own badges You can use this tool : Shields.io
The most common way is of course e-mail so You can make hyperlink with badges, which open popular mail provider for example gmail and paste Your email in destination field.

5 At the end its nice to put some graphic elements.
I choosed 2 :
badges with technologies which i know and some information about what I do.
Again i used for that predefined tools :

6 And voilà ! Its done :) You have Your own developers businness card. Share them with Your friends and paste a link into CV. :)
