I freelance remotely and have a remote job, here is what I think
communication is a huge deal, you need to over-communicate to equate typical on-site communication
self-managing is a big deal, nobody is there to monitor you so you need to build the habit to do it yourself
problem solving becomes 3x more important as you don't have the other guys in the office to tap on the shoulder for help
time management is important as you can spend more time than you should since it's no hard start and stop time
I think a decent step into remote working is working on a distributed team where some of your team may not be in the same office. The next logical step is full remote.
For further actions, you may consider blocking this person and/or reporting abuse
We're a place where coders share, stay up-to-date and grow their careers.
