πŸ‘ Congrats Chris. I too started a new role on Oct 1!

I started ramping up my blog back in NOV 2019 and pushed through quarantine, but honestly with two kids in the house I think quarantine made it more difficult for me to keep going.

I finally hit a breaking point when kids went back to school something needed cut, so I dropped off of all social and blogging. I had no idea it was going to be this long for things to settle in by I am slowly getting back to making some posts.

Congrats man! Great job!

I've built Daily C++ Interview, published Cmake Project Creator at the beginning of #Hacktoberfest, and now I'm working on a new page/newsletter to share the best books you can read as a developer - this latter one is still under construction.

Impressive!

Half way through the lock-down I've decided to finally get going with my channel where I make videos on no-code tools. I've made 25 so far and it is hard!

Just wondering do you make any money off your blogs or do you write them for fun?

All for fun, I did get a free shirt and some stickers πŸ˜‚
But it's mainly costing money in tools + server setup etc.
