I thought about making this game while playing with my daughter in one of the public playgrounds in my neighborhood. The playground had a life-size Tic Tac Toe game made of wood, and my daughter played this game for the first time in her life (she's 4) and really liked it.
My codepen-version of this game is written in React. 3D is achieved using CSS3 transitions. The winning player is detected using bitwise operations against a list of winning patterns.
