Memes aside, I agree with what you're writing (although maybe taking it a bit too far). You shouldn't ditch frameworks altogether, but choose the right one for the job — which might be none at all, something small you put together yourself, or BigAssFrameworkV2 if it fits. I'm a bit allergic to people who start with a framework and then go "now what do I need?"
