I heard that putting a pic of yourself on a resume is not a good practice for dev. What do you think?
it depends... if you look as hot as Fabio it might help you... if you don't then put one of your doggo.
Wow I wasn’t expecting this but thanks anyway... it must sound like a stupid question to you.
It's Thursday (I thought it was Friday, that's how good the week is going for me...), and I thought it was funny :). I apologize if it hurt your feelings. To answer your question "seriously" though, it's up to you. With all the changes going on I don't think its a big issue, but from my experience, a photograph of you wont land you a job, more than your Github portfolio and experience.

Hey @creativetim, great article! For one of my side projects I have built a markdown resume app specifically for devs. I would love for you to check it out here: resumey.pro.
If you find this interesting, could you feature this on your article? Thank you 🙏
I believe that you need to be responsible not only for writing a resume, but also for creating a cover letter. For example, I used a reliable and convenient service skillroads.com/free-resume-review for preparing a resume. With the help of artificial intelligence, it is possible to check if your resume is qualified enough and if it contains typical mistakes. This will help you avoid common resume mistakes, get the perfect resume and make a good impression on the recruiter and get an interview.
Thanks for sharing this! It's really helpful and informative, especially mentioning free resume templates and resources we can use. To ensure that your resume will pass ATS, you should seek some feedback from experts. Here's a free resume critique everyone can use.
Thanks for the tips!
excellent article <4
I feel like this is a good guide for literally any resume, dev or not. Just substitute the jargon and you're set.
Great article some good points to keep in mind while writing my resume. 🙌
I do not have any experience nor a degree.Does this apply to a starter web developer like me?
