The Day I Became Certified as a Full Stack Software Developer: Bragging Rights Article Haha

Officially a Certified Full Stack Software Developer.....yaaaay!

Thanks to African Leadership Experience (alx_africa ) for giving me and thousands of other Africans the platform to grow as part of the professionals that will build a new workforce of hardworking, innovative and competent Software Engineers who will build the future of Tech Solutions in Africa and the world.

Cheers to my peers, great friends turned family and the amazing staff of ALX who in one way or the other held our hands, inspired our hearts and believed in our potentials to achieve great things even if it requires us to do hard things.

The discipline was not "beans" πŸ˜‚, we had to put in serious 70-100hrs a week, learning concepts and being tested on them, solidifying our problem-solving skills, learning soft skills like teamwork, communication, writing, learning how to research and debug personal code and code written by others!

You can check out my GitHub which is a perfect testimonial of how we were trained on diverse technology to creating full stack solutions: https://github.com/Cre8steveDev

Oh, I like writing too, and I was able to discover my passion for the technical writing niche too:

And if you'll like a sneak-peak of my portfolio, where I highlight some of my projects😁:

Beyond my passion for seeing my code come to life in solving a problem, I equally believe in maximizing developer experience and productivity, this lead me to building open source projects:

  1. Code Snippet Extension
  2. Express + TypeScript + Postgres + TypeORM Starter Kit (npm package)

Yes, I've been a busy and resourceful bee - passion cannot be silenced by circumstance 😊.

Checkout the sections below for a throwback to some weird projects I built from the early stage of my learning with basic HTML, CSS and JavaScript - they look funny now, but man, was I so proud of them then.🀣🀣

But today, I'm signing out as a Full stack Software Developer with demonstrable proficiency across Web and Mobile Development using: JavaScript (React, NextJS, React Native-Expo, Node-ExpressJs), Python (Flask) and Databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL).

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! And hey, if you have an open role in your team, I'd be more than happy to join you in building the future!

Throwback to the early stages of my learning. Don't even try to laugh 🀣 πŸ˜‚

Ofcourse, these will not impress anybody, nor is that the idea. But maybe it might inspire someone out there to keep building, keep learning...one day you'll look back and be proud of your growth.
