With a focus on the latest trends, techniques, and best practices in React development, these conferences are essential for developers looking to stay at the forefront of this ever-evolving technology. Many promise to offer unparalleled opportunities for learning, networking, and collaboration within the React community. But which ones are set to deliver this year?
That sounded harsh. Most do deliver. But with so many to choose from and, let’s be real, limited budgets we all have, a bit of planning is required to get the most for your buck.
Between working, planning my time, and my teammates (dev appearance) and (again) organizing React Norway, I wanted to check what our partners in React offer this year.

JSWorld 2024 [ February 28 - March 1st, 2024, Amsterdam ] - A 3-day JavaScript Celebration with 2500 JavaScript Developers flying in from 50+ countries. It looks like they have a lot of Vue and Frontend tech topics this year. Still, the list of speakers is truly awesome. And you should not limit yourself to just React.

🔥React Paris [ March 22nd, 2024, Paris ] - Expect talks about React Server Components, AI, Accessibility, Design, Suspense, Performance, State, Remix, Typescript, and more! A great lineup with Tejas Kumar, Atila Fassina, Aleksandra Sikora, Shaundai Person, and others promises a lot. Believe me, a few of them have been speaking at React Norway, a few are to speak this year, and a few I'd love to see in the near future at RN.

Epic Web Conference 2024 [ April 10-11, 2024, Park City, Utah ] - The Full Stack Web Development Conference of Epic proportions. The mere presence of Remix guys is good enough for me. Workshops are a big plus. For me, a potential problem for US conferences is the cost of traveling. But I’m hopeful.

🔥React Miami [ April 19-20, 2024, Miami, Florida ] - A React community-centered celebration created by developers for developers and easily one of the best React conferences on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean :-) Vercel, Mux, Wix, Stately (2022 Reatc Norway sponsors) people alongside Theo Browne the YouTuber, Swyx, Wes Bos, Kent C. Dodds, Angie Jones, Brian Douglas, and others.

React Conf 2024 [ May 15-16, 2024, The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa, Henderson, Nevada ] - Join Meta, Callstack, and the React team for the 7th React Conf. Hear from the React team.

CityJS Athens 2024 [ June 6-8, 2024, Athens Grece ] - Two days of warm-up Workshops and Meet-ups, followed by a One-day Javascript Conference. 25 speakers and six workshops.

🔥React Norway [ June 14th, 2024, Farris Bad Hotel in Larvik, Norway ] - RN is an exclusive (250 attendees only) annual React and frontend tech conference. The 2024 conference will be our 4th one, and with all the talks, brunost, and bikes flying around last year, it’s gonna be challenging to top last year’s event. Thankfully, we already have Aleksandra Sikora, Vinicius Dallacqua, Elian Van Cutsem, and Sébastien Morel (as Conference MC) in our speakers lineup and are planning something a bit different.
