Hey Damian, Thanks for the great article. The article is really insightful and a huge motivation for an aspiring Web Developer such as myself. As I am new to web dev, I was wondering if the book "Learning Web Design" by Jennifer Niederst Robbins is still a good book to dive into now? or is it outdated?
Hi @jarethtan ! I’m glad you find it useful! Regarding the book, even though it’s not 100% up to date, it teaches great foundational concepts that are still apilable today. I would definitely recommend it.
Awesome. Thanks for the quick response. I will start on the book right now then. Thank you!
Hello, if I may suggest you a good path to learn WebDev, I would recommend for sure The Odin Project, it covers everything in an ordered manner, it is open source, it has a giant community behind, it is free and it covers everything with personal project to showcase at the end of every chapter
Man I just came across this article. This is very inspirational and very similar in tone overall to what I have dealing with. It's funny where life takes you. I am little older than you but I know where you are coming from. Thanks for the great read!
Thanks for your kind words, and I'm glad you find the article useful! We might have taken a longer path, but the important thing is that we should keep walking (by Johnnie Walker 😄).
Trying to find a developer job myself and this is a huge motivation for me.
I’m glad you found this article helpful! Stay strong on your job search, sometimes it can take a while, but the waiting is worth it. 💪
Great article Damian. I really enjoyed reading it!
It is challenging to communicate much character through written words, but you still succeeded to do so. I wish you the best of luck!
Thank you so much Mohamed! I’m glad you liked it!
