You have an awesome looking portfolio or a killer web app but it's just sitting in your Git repo. A prospective hiring manager or recruiter isn't able (or possibly technically capable) of cloning the repo and getting it up and running to see all your hard work.
You need to publish it to a URL!! Something that just works.
