Welcome to the DEV Showcase - a weekly thread where you can share what you've been working on and get feedback and encouragement from the DEV community.
This is your chance to show off your latest project, share a cool hack or technique you've learned, or ask for advice and feedback from other developers. Whether you're a seasoned developer or just starting out, this is the place to connect with others and get inspired.
Here are a few questions to think about if you're stuck:
- What have you been working on lately?
- What tools or resources have you found helpful?
- Have you learned any new skills or techniques recently?
- What challenges have you faced, and how can the community help you overcome them?
- What are your goals for your project or your career moving forward?
Remember, this isn't a competition or a challenge - it's just a space to share and connect with others. So don't be shy! Share your work and get feedback and encouragement from the DEV community.
We're excited to see what you've been working on, and to support you as you continue to grow and develop your skills.

Hello everyone. Iām new to programming, I mean properly learning & writing codes.
Iām familiar with vBulletin & WordPress for years with little knowledge of PHP and HTML/CSS.
I just started to take the CS50 Courses from Havard online with the aim of having a new career in this field.
I am learning Python & Javascript at the moment.
I hope I can make some new friends here as I am a bit adhd & autistic.
Have a great day and thanks for sharing too.
Haha I have autism and adhd too. You're in good company. Good luck with your endeavours! I'm not sure if this book bundle would be useful to you as a Python student...
Hi Brian,
Hope you are doing well.
It is a cool recommendation. I'm checking out.
Thanks!
I have created my first Angular library on npm called ngx-data-loader, which makes asynchronous data loading easier.
Currently, I am trying to figure out why npm is discouraging search engines from indexing the package page. It would be wonderful if other developers could discover my library and possibly even contribute to it :-)
Nice, already over 100 weekly downloads too! Impressive, keep up the good work š
Nice initiative!
From my side, 2 main things recently
I picked up writing, here on dev but also substack. I aim to improve as a writer through consistent practice - and the whole thing is a challenge for me. Community turned out to be very supportive and I even received some tips already and I'm also learning by consuming lots of contents of others.
I started some learning in deep learning area to understand the foundations. I can totally recommend this YT series by Andrej Karpathy.
Happy to hear what others are up to :)
that YT series is so cool thanks for sharing! and definitely keep writing! I think jean-michel said recently that practice is super unsexy and I agree but it's definitely the road to success.
Hello there!
I've most experienced with Java since 2021. I've implemented some ML algorithms using Java. Since this year, I've started focusing more on JS/TS. I've already had a good experience with JS before.
Since the beginning of this year, I've been focused more on learning JS features and started learning TS (because it allows OOP). I am currently working on many TS/JS projects (ReactJS, NodeJS), and I've just started learning socket.io.
Nice, TS/JS is really popular here so you'll probably find some good content and maybe pick up some reactions if you share some details about your projects.
New ritual content alert?!?!?! š
