Nice job Chittoji! You can tell you put a lot of time and effort into this page.
Your design looks balanced and well thought out. I would be weary of using more than one
h1
tag in your html though because it's bad for accessibility which in turn hurts the page from a Search Engine Optimization perspective too. More info about it here.Once you get a bit more comfortable I'd recommend trying to recapture this magic with React, Vue.js, or Angular if you're wanting to learn more about frontend technologies. While nothing is inherently wrong with jQuery it is a bit outdated and you wont really find a whole lot of frontend gigs if you dont expand beyond it.
Great job and good luck!
Thanks For the feedback mr.steve and info,
I really don't knew about those h1 and stuff, I will try changing those,
And yeah jQuery is quite old, but soon I'll change it to react,
Really Thanks for teaching me new stuff
You might not agree with the points I make but know that these are just opinions based on my experience.
Domain
While it's okay to use a github.io domain and while searching people won't really have to remember the domain name, it'd be a lot easier for people if the domain was shorter. so maybe change your username to something shorter and use that instead of using your full name.
JQuery
Add in more Frontend skills, jquery is quite old and it'll be hard to find new gigs you might find some maintenance work here and there if you plan on being a consultant but that's about all. Instead improve on vanilla javascript and then jump into Angular/React/Vue/Svelte whatever you think is easier or whatever you like in those 4
3.More Projects
Theres a slight jitter on the More Projects section when the cards animate, as they try to grab more space than what's allocated, if this was intentional to make it feel like tearing a piece of paper, it could be smoother. If not, then maybe calculate the needed width before making the transform.
4.Navigation Bar in Mobile Site
A little more padding below the icons could help.
Thanks for the complete review reaper,
I have to figure a new domain,
About jQuery it's true, I was just trying to learn react, and soon I will switch to it as soon as possible,
More projects I was actually trying to make a tear effect,
I'll check the navigation bar in mobile site,
I will definitely make the changes, thanks a lot again for the complete review.
Domain, don't have to spend money, just change the username, if you are looking for a new domain,
use namecheap, don't go for goDaddy.
Oh that's nice, yeah react will get you enough gigs online.
Okay thanks for the info reaper.
nice one bro
Thanks bro 🙂
Look at your certificates XD
yeah i've noticed it in last update it went pretty much sideways, thanks for the info. :)
