Are You Struggling with Web Development ?

Trust me web development is not as hard as you think! I struggled to understand coding in lectures because they never gave me real projects with real-life examples. It was not until my mentor introduced me to these YouTube channels that changed my whole perspective about coding, especially web development, that made my work more understandable than before.

Transverse Media

This is a free web development tutorial on YouTube and some project-based tutorials on Udemy and other learning platforms. It is owned by Brad Trasversy, who started coding in 2007 when he was only 26 years old. He also has a website showcasing some of the courses he offers on other platforms that teaches his classes.

With Transverse Media, you not only get to learn web development languages (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript). However, you also get to learn languages used in both backend and front–end engineering. For the front-end, for example, you get to know frameworks like React and Vue. While as for backend engineering, you get exposed to programming languages like Node.Js, Python, and PHP.

Web Dev Simplified

This YouTube channel moves you from a no-stack developer to a full-stack developer in no time. What I loved about this channel was the easy access to source codes on the projects he explains in his YouTube videos. He also offers a range of resources that gives you a deeper understanding of the concepts he is explaining. He has also tagged in his GitHub account, where you can follow up on some of the projects that he is currently up to.

Free Code Camp

If I were to rank all the YouTube videos I have encountered that teach programming, this would top my list. Free Code camp is a non-profit organization that has set the bar so high in teaching thousands of individuals how to code. If you don't want to spend your coins on enrolling in these boot camps, then a free code camp is for you.

Free Code Camp is a popular learning platform to learn coding

Free Code Camp gives you access to learning materials such as articles and videos on YouTube. In this camp, you could also enter some support groups that are available around the world.

Google Developers

If Google is a dream company that you want to work at as a developer, then this is among the YouTube channels that you should keep tabs on. It not only gives you a learning experience on Web development but also exposes you to acquire some google developer's certification.

Some of these certifications include:

β€’ Google Play store Listing Certificate

β€’ Associate Android Developer

β€’ Tensor Flow Developer Certificate

β€’ Google Cloud Certified (Professional Cloud Architect)

β€’ Google Cloud Certified (Professional Data Engineer)

β€’ Google Cloud Certified (Associate Cloud Engineer)

Tree House

Tree House is a great YouTube Chanel for beginners who are just entering the coding world and want to learn more than web development. It goes as far as teaching mobile app development, gaming development, and also how to start a Software as a Service (SaaS) business.

One disadvantage of this program is that the courses on their website are not free. There is a monthly subscription until the completion of the registered class.

Programming with Mosh

Mosh is an Australian Software engineer who gas simplified learning how to code using simplified videos relatable to the outside world. Although his popularity of programming languages is Python and C sharp (C#), I would still recommend him to teach web development because of the simplicity of the language that he uses.

Apart from this, he also offers paid courses on his website.

Happy coding guys, wishing you all the best in this journey that you have started .
