Starting my second week of Hacktoberfest, I got involved in creating another UI. This app was a new app, and they wanted something in order to enhance the user interface as a whole.
Contributing
Before I had made any modifications, I thought about what the UI was missing, The search bar was one of the few, but that was a different issue that the author had requested.
I opened an issue for the new UI and asked to be assigned to be the one to enhance the UI. Shortly after, the author assigned me the issue. Issue #10
I then started by creating a CSS file and, modified the background to be a dark blue image. I then created a navigation bar underneath the title including a Home, Contact, About, and a Print button on the bar. Pull Request #15
Conclusion
After finishing everything, I then created a pull request. Although not too different from my previous contribution, though a bit of a different execution, this time using an image for the background.
Though it was unique being one of the first contributions to a repository without any functions, or modifications. It was just a simple blank page at first but I can see with the numerous contributions it looks functional now.
