I used to get a few follows most days. That tapered off since I haven’t been posting lately. I haven’t had a new follow in weeks. In the past day, though, 75 people have followed me and I don’t know why. Has anyone else experienced this?
Don’t get me wrong, new followers are great, but the suddenness seems fishy.

I was also wondering why this is.
In the last 4 weeks I made 5 blog posts (never made any before)
I made 41 comments since I joined on Oct 6, 2018 (also not that much I think)
But I currently have 614 followers and my "most popular" post only has 424 views.
Currently 806 total post views.
Would be strange that every viewer of all my posts followed me.

Shortly after I posted this, the number dropped to 48. Now it's dropped to 10, which is where it was yesterday. Still puzzled.
I'd say they were fake profiles or bots. I mostly lurk on here, and currently have 38 followers, and many of their profiles are essentially blank.
