Yep. Or just get rid of React and those additional libraries complicated layers and just use very simple logic with much faster, cleaner and future proof Vanilla Javascript.

You may be right, that vanilla JS is more future proof than a framework, but don't you think that every dev should have at least a minimal level of mastery of some JS framework ?

Yes. If that dev wants to work for a company. If he works on a project with other developers chances are she/he needs to know how to work with those frameworks. Do these frameworks help coordinating work between developers? I am sure they are. Do these frameworks help starting a project faster? Probably, yes. Do they make our code cleaner, less complex, run faster or easier to work with or debug? Absolutely not.
