What is the situation of Scala and Perl in 2021? I mean, i don't know anything about both languages but i want to learn, is the both still used in large scale? Or do you think is better to keep coding in PHP, Node and Python?

If you are looking for many other developers then Perl is not for you. It's community is much smaller than the 3 you mentioned.
If you are looking to enjoy coding and learn a different way of thinking then Perl is definitely a good choice.
