To be honest, I know very little about shopify and e-commerce generally these days, BUT I know a lot of folks do use Next for ecomm AND Next has some great details on (what sounds like) a pretty seamless integration with Shopify: github.com/vercel/commerce. The Features section in that repo makes it sound pretty good :)
