Your boss won't promote you if you just do your job and hope for the best.
That's not how this works. You need to learn to play the game.
There is a lot of information out there on how to get your first job in tech and how to learn to code, but there is very little information on what happens next.
- How do you position yourself as a junior dev at your first job?
- How do you communicate?
- When do you ask for help and when should you show independence?
- How do you actually get promoted to mid level?
- What do you do if you can't get promoted?
There are so many questions that nobody really taught you how to answer.
