DoJo is the philosophy and virtue we strive to practice and amplify every day. The ideology behind DoJo to skill up is from the theory of learning pyramid. To skill up in a technology, the learners retain information better when they actively engage in the learning process. The concept that suggests different retention rates for different methods of learning. By gamifying and creating an environment for participatory learning, the structure of CoE or DoJo tend to yield better results in terms of information retention.

Building DoJo needs a top-down strategic investment and execution committee. Having well-defined mission, vision, and value statements for a CoE provides a clear sense of direction, aligns the team members towards a common purpose, and fosters a shared culture and set of values. It helps create a strong foundation for the CoE's activities, facilitates decision-making, and promotes consistency and coherence in its approach.
