Thus MLH host Local Hack Day event with different themes such as Learn, Build and Share. Everyone is welcome to participate, even if you don't know how to code. Each day, there are different challenges for you to solve or complete to earn points.

What do I learn from LHD?

There are A LOT of workshops which the MLHers will guide you through different topics that you may have or may have not learn before. You will get to learn how to write a simple code to write your own website! Or you will learn about Data Visualization, Machine Learning or more. I learned how to create my own data visualization and web scrapping applications (Discord bot).

What do I enjoy the most from LHD?

I recommend you should join a guild because they will help you to get through the challenges and you can also discuss/share your ideas with one another. I'm currently a member of Blahajgang and they are the best! Adam and Jack are really active and helpful to guide new members to go through different challenges. I love my guild so much because we are not alone, we collaborate with one another. We get to meet different people from around the world and share the laughter. Most important, we get to enjoy what we learn and build! The reason why I joined LHD:Share because I joined LHD:Build before. I was Eddie Hub's member and we did the same thing. We helped one another and had conversations.

Why you SHOULD join LHD?

YOU SHOULD BECAUSE MLH WELCOME EVERYONE, NO MATTER IF YOU HAVE NO CODING EXPERIENCE. IT IS WORTH TO JOIN BECAUSE YOU GET TO LEARN AND BUILD NEW THINGS. LHD IS A WAY FOR YOU TO IMPROVE YOURSELF.
