#GitHubCopilot πŸ€– – Visual Studio 2022 support and Copilot Labs !

Hi !

Quick post on Friday about some amazing news for GitHub Copilot:

GitHub Copilot Labs

GitHub Copilot Labs is separate from (and dependent on) the GitHub Copilot extension. Labs will be a proving ground for experimental applications of machine learning that improve the developer experience.

Labs include some amazing features like:

  • Explain this code
  • Translate this code

The feature names are good enough to get an idea of the goal.

In the following image, I asked CoPilot Labs to explain a sample set of lines that I used to demo and control a drone.

Super Cool !

GitHub Copilot now available for Visual Studio 2022

GitHub Copilot is now available from Visual Studio 2022 for everyone in the technical preview. I shared some insights and even, show this live in my CoPilot Series, and this is so cool.

Just go to Extensions > Manage Extensions and search for GitHub Copilot in Visual Studio 2022.

New sessions about learning JavaScript and TypeScript with GitHubCopilot πŸ€–

And remember, during April we will continue the events and series around CoPilot. This time working with Javascript and TypeScript.

Happy coding!

Greetings

El Bruno
