Using nvm with fish shell [Linux]

Steps

  • Install nvm
  • nvm won't work with fish
  • Install bass and fish-nvm 
omf install https://github.com/fabioantunes/fish-nvm
omf install https://github.com/edc/bass
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode

  • Install the desired node version and set it as default 
nvm install 18.12.1
nvm alias default 18.12.1
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode
