I think it depends on the type of job and the level of experience. As well as the personality of the person itself.
I just got a beginner front-end dev job recently, and I'm lucky that it's a small company with a friendly and informal atmosphere, which is great for me in general, but especially if you're new and it's your first job.
No big corporate stress.
