I have been building my new portfolio for a week now and now, I need insights into it to see how much progress I have made.

A review would be appreciated on the things that can be improved.

Love the waves and the vibe overall!

I'd say you can seek to "do less" in general. I think the rotating icons are the biggest here (though I see what you are trying to do and it's clever — just a bit much).

It looks good compared to the last portfolio. There are a lot of things you can improve, especially in UX. However, the most important thing would be to keep social icons static (not rotating), as it degrades UX. The best thing that I loved was the hover navigation to enlarge icons (my curious side). I know it's in the development phase, so a big congratulations on trying to improve it further.

Great work! I agree with most comments here though that you should "do less" - the effects are overwhelming and make it hard to focus on the content. I'd defo put the content first, and have way less effects and "fancy" design stuff, so you make your content stand out more.

nice work on your new portfolio but their is an issue on the light and dark mode is not blending well in light mode option, you can see the look in this screenshot.well done so far.
