Installing Brave Browser on Ubuntu 20.04 is quite simple. Here is my steps:
Update apt (optional)
sudo apt update
Download Brave keyring and add to apt:
curl -fsSLO https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com/brave-browser-archive-keyring.gpg &&
sudo mv brave-browser-archive-keyring.gpg /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/.
Check Keyring (optional):
apt-key list 2&>1 | grep brave-browser -A6
/etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/brave-browser-archive-keyring.gpg

Add the Brave Browser repo:
echo "deb [arch=amd64] https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com/ stable main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/brave-browser-release.list
Update apt again to fetch brave-browser repo:
sudo apt update
Install the brave-browser:
sudo apt install brave-browser
You should be able to use your newly installed brave browser now.
That's all...
