What is CSS Pseudo-Elements?
Are Pseudo-Elements and Pseudo-Classes the same?
We as UI developers tend to confuse between Pseudo-Elements (::) and Pseudo-Classes (:).
Pseudo-elements represent physical element which is not visible in your DOM where as Pseudo-classes represent a state of an HTML element. Both of these features of CSS3 help us write clean HTML code and ultimately simplified DOM.
