Basic concepts of flexbox

: Controls the direction in which the flex-items are laid along the main axis -

: This is the primary axis that flex items are laid out along. It is not always horizontal. -

When working with flexbox you need to think in terms of two axes — the main axis and the cross axis. The main axis is defined by the flex-direction
