I am a moviebuff and I watch a lot of movies. Some movies motivate us, some entertain us and some are so boring that they outright irritate us. There are some movies which show the zeal and consistency of developers and make us feel that we should work more consistently and with more aggression to achieve our goals.
What are some of the movies which the people of #DEVcommunity will recommend for watching as a morale booster for developers.

Mostly sci-fi movies like Ex Machina, Bladerunner (shoutout to the amazing Bladerunner 2049 too) and The Martian. Watching movies with futuristic ideas and aesthetics gets me feeling inspired. I also agree with your choices of Silicon Valley and Mr Robot too.
Great suggestions would love to watch the movies. I have watched "The Martian" and would love to watch the others as well.
But, I prefer watching movies that have a sense of realism in them and biographical movies as you can see from my list.
Jian-Yang in Silicon Valley makes me feel inspired.
