Video preview of the challenge
Pretty neat, huh? These are the results of my recent deep dive into Flutter animations. Welcome to my “7 Days of Flutter Fun” project!
A week ago, I was just a Flutter enthusiast with a burning question: “How do they make those awesome animations?” Fast forward seven days, and well… you’ve seen the video.
Now, I’m no Flutter guru. When I started this journey, I was fumbling through tutorials like many of you. But I had this crazy idea: what if I challenged myself to recreate seven cool animations, one each day for a week?
So that’s exactly what I did. I picked seven animations that caught my eye and went to work. The expanding circles with color changes? That was day one. And then things got more interesting… but I don’t want to spoil the surprise just yet!
Here’s the deal: over the next week, I’m going to break down each of these animations. I’ll share what I learned, the hurdles I faced (there were plenty!), and how I eventually got things working.
Each day, I’ll post about one animation. You’ll get my attempts at explaining the concepts (as I’ve come to understand them), the actual code I used, and even a link to the GitHub repo if you want to tinker with it yourself.
Now, I can’t promise that my explanations will be textbook-perfect. There might be some “I think this is why it works” moments. But that’s the beauty of learning in public, right? We can figure things out together.
So, if you’re curious about how these animations came to life, why not join me on this retrospective journey? Check back tomorrow for the first deep-dive. And if you don’t want to miss anything, you could always bookmark this page or follow me on X.
Remember, this isn’t an expert tutorial series. It’s just me, sharing what I’ve learned in hopes that it might help other Flutter enthusiasts. Who knows? We might uncover some cool tricks along the way.
Ready to peek behind the curtain of Flutter animations? See you tomorrow for day one
