This is the comic I coded this week for comiCSS. It is a silly joke drawn with HTML and CSS (you can see the source code here):

Death by CSS Grid
Amazing, looks impossible. Good job
As a new guy in css world looks impossible to me.
we share same feeling.... hope we get better soon
If it helps anything, what's showcased on this post is not something especially practical or useful for web development.
This is really cool - thanks for sharing!
How long did this take to write?
The static cartoon took me less than 1 hour. Animating it took longer 😅
I suppose time doesn't matter so much if it's fun. It certainly looks like it was worth it!
CSS is dead.... long live CSS. 😂
Awesome animation, very well done.
Haha, this is a fun way of making a comic! Well done!
Wonderful
Wow, that's pretty cool!
ja, funny but interesting!
My god, this is incredible! You can probably make YouTube videos/streams while making these...
Sometimes, I share the drawing process on Youtube: youtube.com/alvaromontoro.
Twitch is something I've been exploring, but I'm not consistent.
Comic about CSS seems Cool !
What precisely does CSS mean?
Comic Strips & Styling.
what a title!
nice man!!
Cool 👌
Yeah css is a very cool language. Learning that makes life easier than including more cdn in your code
you still write css with css-in-js frameworks, its just in your javascript code, which has some advantages, like being able to easily reflect changes at runtime, without the need to manipulate css variables using js.
😢
In a post-credit screen we discover that CSS is Death 💀👀
It always was 😈💀
interesting! I love this!
Wow that's cool man. I mean the image, of course. Not CSS troubles.
Good Job
Thanks!
Looks cool, but I still don't know what "CSS is dead" means.
Every now and then a new JS library/framework pops up claiming that they are the best way of doing styling, and they are here to replace CSS. I tried to summarize that into a "CSS is dead!" message from JS, but maybe it's not too clear.
Oh, I see, but can you show me an example of a library that says that? In the end it's still CSS...
Yes, all end up generating/compiling into CSS in the end. They claim is that they are easier or that you won't need to do anything on the CSS side (all in JS or HTML.)
Death by flex!
