I think it’s a good point as long as you don’t take it literally.
Let’s saying cleaning a house is 50 hours of work (it’s a big house lol). If you are giving yourself 30 days to do something that takes 50 hours then you are wasting a ton of time.
In reality, frequently we don’t know how long things are going to take. Instead I think a better attitude is to always give it 100%.
It’s also pays to be smart and avoid burnout. Try programming for 24 hours straight, and you might notice that towards the end your problem solving skills are going to get a lot worse.
