Why do you think I have a problem with an IDE? Just because because I have preference for VIM and use it as my main editor that doesn't mean that I hate, dislike or not use any other IDEs.
For example for mobile application development I do use an IDE xcode/IntelliJ.
A lot of the comments I've seen come from this post are much on the vein of "this person uses and likes different tools than I do, bring the pitchforks and kill!!!"
Seriously, if you don't like VIM and you prefer to use an IDE, good for you thats your choice. Use the tools that work best for you.
