To me, decorator and 1st proxy example are the same 🥲 And both Observer examples are literally the same, just different names (and no events at all 🥲)

This is massive and detailed list! Thanks for putting this together!

While I now mostly avoid OOP in JavaScript, I did use a number of these patterns in the past, and had a particular thought about the Abstract Factory Pattern I wanted to share.

Because JavaScript doesn't really have abstract classes, I used throw new Error('Not implemented') inside the abstract methods. While it's not a solution for every use case, it makes it clear if you fail to implement a method in an extended class.

yeah, I would say I don't use them on the job as much as I use them when building libraries. On the job I work with libraries I use tools that are implementation of these patterns.

For example most Rust Backend frameworks use the builder pattern in building your server. I think we all see them regularly even if we aren't implementing them regularly.
