HNG hotels.ng is a free 8weeks long Internship Opportunity organized by HNG/Zuri team based in Nigeria, West Africa.
Although Its is based in Nigeria, mostly run by Nigerians, the Opportunity is open to all and sundry as we have participants from a walks of life. We have participants from India, Ghana, Pakistan, costa-rica to mention a few.
Although HNG is different from Zuri in that they have separate missions they are mostly ran by a joint team. While Zuri is focused on training (excellent for absolute beginners) HNG is focused on Application of the fundamentals (most suitable people with basic Knowledge).
With different approach, they continually pave way for Tech Enthusiasts as they have done for thousands participants and still counting.
This article is not complete if I don't state my reason for Joining. simply put I joined the Front End of the HNG (cohort 8) which kick-started in August 2021 so I can
- Gain Industry Knowledge.
- Improve Problem Solving Skills
- Increase Efficiency.
- Gain mastery of Stacks and tools.
- learn How it really works.
- gain exposure to real life problems.
- expand my network and Meet new People of like mind.
- Land a Good Job.
In conclusion, my sincere appreciation goes to the HNG/Zuri-team for this invaluable push to put learning into building real life, industry standard solutions for the benefit of mankind.
