Hey there everyone ๐Ÿ‘‹!

Surely we all use terminals in our life? (developers only). Yes, so people using terminal, be amazed of something new.

๐Ÿ˜ฎ Difference between a Terminal and Shell

  • The Shell is the program that actually processes commands and outputs results whereas a Terminal is a wrapper program that runs a shell and allows us to enter commands.

  • ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ’ป For example, Command Prompt is an Terminal and Powershell is a Shell.

So basically, A terminal is a input-output program that runs the commands originally in a shell.

๐Ÿฆ„ Introduction to Tabby

Tabby is a next-gen, modern terminal for developers. It might not be as light-weight as cmd but it is quite productive.

Tabby was released publicly as a open-source Terminal on github on December 23, 2016! The initial version were pretty good comparable to that time. Today, it is one of the most leading cool-UI and productive Terminals.

๐Ÿงก Tabby is a highly configurable terminal emulator, SSH and serial client for Windows, macOS and Linux.
