Around 70-80 attendees were present initially, including 15-20 Sony India engineers, with the crowd continuing to grow as the morning progressed.

The day commenced with an engaging session by Aravind Chandramohan, Director at Sony India Software Centre, who shared a brief history of Sony, taking the audience through the company’s rich heritage and innovation culture. Aravind highlighted Sony’s evolution from its origins to its cutting-edge innovations, emphasizing how the company consistently pushed the boundaries of technology. This inspiring kickoff set the tone for the rest of the day, energizing the attendees for the lineup of tech-heavy discussions to follow.

Next up was Prasanth Manohar, Engineering Manager at Sony India Software Centre. He shared valuable insights into the DevOps and SRE practices powering PlayStation, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the tools and processes used to ensure top-notch operational efficiency. His session captivated the audience, especially those keen on learning about large-scale DevOps deployments.
My Talk on Container-Supported Development Workflow
I was honored to speak about the container-supported development workflow, a topic close to my heart. Though scheduled for 10:00 AM, we started at 11:00 AM due to some delays. However, the audience’s engagement made the wait worthwhile. We dove into how containers, particularly Docker, are revolutionizing development workflows by enhancing speed, scalability, and simplicity. It was heartening to see the enthusiasm of attendees as they grasped the potential of container technology to streamline their development processes.

Suman Chakraborty brought the morning session to a climax with his presentation on Unleashing K8sGPT: Your Kubernetes Debugging Sidekick. This session was a clear highlight, blending AI with Kubernetes debugging to provide developers with a toolset for navigating the complex Kubernetes landscape. The buzz from this talk was unmistakable, and attendees were left eager to implement these ideas into their own Kubernetes environments.
Afternoon of CI/CD and AI Innovation
After a hearty lunch, the day resumed with Lavakush Biyani covering Building Scalable CI/CD Pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and Tekton. His talk was packed with practical insights on streamlining CI/CD processes for scaling modern applications.
The final talk of the day was delivered by Mukund Gandlur, a co-founder of Toystack with Anand Kumar Rai, presenting on Toystack AI. The presentation offered an innovative look into a platform that helps developers setup, automate and deploy the development environment for their backend servers.
