The final list is indeed heavily influenced by personal preferences. I wish I had enough time and energy to properly investigate immigration policies for each and every country! Unfortunately, I had to somehow leave only a handful of finalists. So we got what we got.
I tried to fill in the numbers for the extended list of countries, so you should be able to clone the spreadsheet, and filter it to your liking.
