My first job in the world of coding

Dear People of the Dev Community!

It's been some time since I wrote a post as I had nothing really interesting going on. In my last one, I was writing about the beginner's trap and you guys gave me a lot of support and I made a new friend. :)

For the last 4 months I've been putting at least 4 to 7 hours a day of learning and practising HTML, CSS and mainly JavaScript.

I've been in the forex and cfd's industry for more than 8 years and I've come a long way, hence the reason I wanted to change. I needed something new, something hard, something challenging.

As I wrote before, I didn't have any unrealistic expectations to pursue, I put down my head and learnt as much as I could.

Lately, I've been very close to quitting from forex as I just had enough with everything around our business.

I'm not sure about you, but I do believe in miracles - or at least rewards that happen for being a hard-worker.

So, last week I went to a party - haven't been in one this year so far - and my friend and his colleagues were there. They run a professional webdev company for a long time now.

Somehow I came up that I'm learning a lot, and will be looking into applying for some internship or start freelancing they started asking some questions, and 2 hours later they just gave me the question.

We've been looking for a person who knows coding and is good at sales

At first, I told them that unfortunately I don't know anyone. Then, they told me, yea, that'd be you. :D

I didn't even know what to say at that point. We agreed to have a proper meeting this week.

Fast-forward 5 days, I had the meeting on Thursday and I am happy to say that I'll be their Head of Business and I'll be able to learn a lot more about coding, highly likely to get down to actual coding at that company.

I know, I haven't become a programmer, yet. But I am get to be at a place where my main task will be dealing with the devs and our client's needs.

I have to thank all of you for the support you have given, and the awesome posts I can read on a daily basis!

I hope that the beginners out there will get some confidence boost from reading this post as they can see that putting in the work and taking every single chance can help you achieve your dreams.

Thank you for reading this post.
