Here's some green tips: less JavaScript more simple HTML and CSS. Less tracking or metrics how they call it's really not that necessary nor does it help that much and way to prove it is the question how slower do your tools get each year? Thus less "AI" and things like that. Brands to set location (gps), nfc, Bluetooth, etc off by default and NOT ask for it in apps like weather as users are capable of setting it themselves.
Less sync with this and that. But also users should be able to turn all of this on if they want. However I would start taxing companies extra, that use too much net traffic including having too much cookies on their websites without option opt out of all on a single click
