What is React.js?
React originated from an internal Facebook project. Because the JavaScript MVC frameworks available on the market at the time could not meet Facebook's requirements of Facebook, the set of frameworks aka Reactjs was made internally, which was mainly used on the website of Instagram (a picture social app acquired by Facebook). Later, it was open sourced in May 2013, making it available for everyone to use.
