As a part of the Ivey Product Society this term, I was excited to work on Google Cloud Skillsboost Platform, because I have always been passionate about making the platform more accesible, easy to use, and engaging with students. After having organized a workshop at Maple Hacks, a hackathon at western and noticing that there was some turnover even during the session as the interface was not straightforward. There were multiple pages that needed to be navigated to just signup!
I can provide the full PRD and slide deck upon request, but the summary of my ideas includes:
having the forums and community groups such as GDSC, GDG and GDE inetgrated within the learningi platform (hyper links where appropriate etc.,)
having badges synced with developer profile
points system
