This is really helpful. I went through a bootcamp as well and testing wasn't even brought up in class. It was our 'winter break' homework assignment, but they never reviewed the homework assignments. Such a crucial part of building apps.

I have nothing but praise for Flatiron's curriculum, but if there was one thing I'd change/add it would be tests.
As you become more experienced, tests move from being this abstract best practice to something you would be terrified to scale up without.
