I thought the name Ned Snow refers to A Song of Ice and Fire's main characters Eddard Stark (Ned) and Jon Snow!
I wasn't sure if to go with that name for exactly this reason. But then I thought it was good marketing lol. Besides it made the anagram less obvious.
