If you are less comfortable doing it IRL, online is a great place to learn and grow. One other piece of advice I have is to approach everything from the standpoint of trying to learn. If your explanation is along the lines of "Here is what I am thinking on this, what do you think?" you are leaving room in the conversation for the other person. If you can do that, you'll be golden.
