It's great for backend UI, you have something that looks good that you didn't have to spend a lot of time on.
For front end the advantage is you don't need to reinvent the wheel. Responsive grids, tables etc are all there. Yes, you'll be changing it so it doesn't look like Bootstrap, but your time is spent on branding, not functionality.
