FWIW, almost every phone that I'm aware of will be able to receive MMS messages to an email address. To find out what email address, send an email to you@gmail.com (or whatever your email address is). Now you should be able to send messages to your phone!
A simple way would be via Gmail's SMTP servers. But there's no reason you can't use anything else.
