You can use Ubuntu. I am using Ubuntu LTS 22.04 for android dev. I started off using Windows then switched over to Linux when I got serious with dev. Setting up is easy it's not hard on resources, I use the emulator most of the time to test my apps and have multiple browser tabs open.
Experience has been seemless and I've enjoyed it so far. I've using it for flutter dev for up to 4 months now.
